1.Types of Brain Drain
i.Internal Brain Drain: This occurs when skilled individuals migrate from rural areas to urban centres within the same country, seeking better opportunities and resources. While not international, it can still have a significant impact on rural development.
ii.External Brain Drain: This involves the movement of professionals from their home country to another nation. This is often driven by factors such as higher salaries, advanced research facilities, and better living standards in the host country.
