Scope: Their jurisdiction covers disputes between individuals, between individuals and the government, and even between different levels of governments, like state vs. state or centre vs. state.
Purpose: It is the power of the judiciary to evaluate and review the constitutionality of legislative enactments or executive orders.
Scope: If a law, in the opinion of the judiciary, violates the basic structure of the Constitution, the judiciary has the authority to invalidate or strike down that law.
