Speed

Speed is the measure of how quickly an object moves from one place to another. It is defined as the distance covered by an object in a unit of time.

Understanding Speed

1.Comparison of Speeds: To determine which of two objects is moving faster, we compare the distances they cover in a given time. The object covering more distance in the same time is moving faster.

2.Unit of Speed: The standard unit of speed is typically kilometres per hour (km/h) or meters per second (m/s).
