A – Tropical/Megathermal Climates: High average temperatures, and typically high precipitation throughout the year.
1.Af: Tropical rainforest climate. ‘f’ indicates no significant dry season.
2.Am: Tropical monsoon climate. Heavy rainfall, but with a marked dry season.
3.Aw: Tropical wet and dry or savannah climate. Winter is dry.
B – Arid and Semi-Arid Climates: Defined by the insufficient amount of precipitation they receive.
