1.Changes Made: The Act introduced modifications in the constitution of the Court of Directors, which was tasked with making decisions regarding the administration and operation of the Company, aiming for improved management and oversight.

2.Government Oversight: The actions of the Company were brought under the supervision of the British Government for the first time, indicating a move towards direct governmental control over the EIC's operations, especially in India.

3.Mandatory Reporting: Directors of the Company were required to present to the British Ministry all correspondence related to civil and military affairs in India, as well as its revenues, to ensure transparency and allow for governmental oversight.
