SUBORDINATE COURTS
The Indian Constitution, under Part VI (Articles 233 to 237), establishes the framework for subordinate courts in India, which play a vital role in the country's judicial system. Subordinate courts, also known as district courts or lower courts, are an essential part of the judiciary, as they serve as the first point of contact for most litigants and handle a vast majority of cases. These courts work un er the supervision of the respective High Courts and play a crucial role in delivering justice at the grassroots level.
Article 233 of the Constitution of India deals with the appointment, posting, and promotion of district judges in the states. This article ensures that the process is carried out with the involvement of both the executive and judiciary to maintain a balance and uphold the integrity of judicial appointments.
