ATTITUDE

What is meant by Attitude?

An attitude is a positive or negative evaluation of a person, object, or situation. It is a way of thinking or feeling about something that can influence an individual's behaviour and actions. Attitudes are made up of three components:

1.Affective Component: This is the emotional or feeling aspect of an attitude, such as liking or disliking something.

2.Behavioural Component: This is the way an attitude influences an individual's behaviour or actions, such as avoiding or approaching something.

3.Cognitive Component: This is the individual's thoughts and beliefs about an object, person or situation, and it includes an individual's knowledge, expectations and perception of the subject.

Here are a few examples of attitudes:

1.Positive Attitude towards a New Job: This attitude includes feeling excited and motivated about starting a new job, having the intention to work hard, and believing that the new job will be fulfilling and offer opportunities for growth.
